LaReine Shawl was my first knitting pattern design and it still remains as one of my favorite shawls to wear. It's small so I can tuck it in my bag and pull it out if I get a little chilly. I knit this one for my sister with Malabrigo Yarn Sock in Tiziano Red. Isn't she gorgeous?
Two years ago I released this pattern and I thought it would be fun to celebrate the anniversary. For the month of October, I am offering a $2.00 discount for fans of my Facebook Page. Just enter the coupon code "FBOctober" when you add LaReine to your cart. (For those that don't know, you don't need to be a member of Ravelry to
purchase the patterns. Just click on "Buy it Now" and you can check out
with Paypal or your credit card.)
The pattern has both written directions and charts. Although, it was
designed to use one skein of sock yarn, it can be easily customized
to a larger size. There are instructions on how to make the shawl
larger.
