Sweet & Tart

Mariko posted about these Cranberry Streusel Bars and they looked so good. So, I whipped up a batch myself. She said that they have a perfect balance of sweet and tart and she is spot on! I did use the walnuts called for in the recipe and I loved it.

The recipe is HERE.

Look at these cute holiday cards I recently bought from ChickenGirl Design. When I saw them on Jannie's blog, I knew they would be perfect for me.

Napoleon's face is back to normal. But now I feel he looks so skinny, like he lost 5 lbs or something. We always suspected Napoleon had some French heritage, but it became clear to us when he wore his beret today. His biological parent's names were Rocky and Gigi.
The beret is actually a crochet project I am working on.

Awww, little Napoleon is looking goooood in his little beret.
We almost named our male Frenchie Napoleon.. ummm.. our first Frenchie is Josephine so it would have been a fun choice. We went totally different and named him Harper... one of my fave authors is Harper Lee.

So glad he's feeling and looking better. I'd be SO pissed at the vet after that stunt (esp. since they knew he had had an allergic reaction before!!) Poor baby.
