Veronica's Birthday Party!

This past weekend, we attended our friend's baby, Veronica's 1st Birthday Party. Isn't her birthday outfit cute? Even her bib and crown matches, all thanks to her Grandma Rose.
I made Whoopie Pies(far left) and the pink and white cake(middle). The cake had a heart shaped cake on the top of a round cake.It was suppose to be a personal cake for her to destroy eat, but she was a dainty little girl and didn't grab for the cake.
Jen (mom), Veronica, and her Uncle Garry (This picture is for you, Garry.)I made Veronica a kitty from the Wee Wonderfuls Put-Together Book 1.
The Whoopie Pies were so good. I especially liked the filling (it kinda taste like oreo filling). The recipe says that it makes 28, but I ended up with 14. I think you would have to make them tiny in order to get 28. The recipe is here. Don't forget the milk.

The pies and cakes all look so good, it's now almost 6 pm, and they are making me think of having dessert instead of dinner :)
The kitty is sweet, especially her patchwork dress with the little collar.

Oh my gosh, what an adorable little kitty! I need one of those myself ;) The cake and whoopie pies look delicious. I should try some of those pies for the boys, I bet they'd love them.

Just noticed the little gestation thingy on your sidebar, love that! Now I can stop wondering how much longer you have to go.
