I had a Anatomy Sonogram this week and I finally found out the gender of the baby. The technician kept us waiting as she was showing us the kidney, feet, the heart...etc. The baby is a G-I-R-L!!! DH was holding my hand and I had tears of joy as I repeated what she said in disbelief. It was such a emotional moment for us. I think that we were in shock to finally find out the gender after all these months of waiting. Afterwards, we kept grinnning at each other and saying, "We are having a girl". The above photo shows that my little girl is sucking her thumb!!! I can't wait to start yarn shopping. I will try to hold myself back from buying too much purple and lavender colored yarns. Purple is my favorite color, but it may not be hers.

Congratulations! She looks like a cutie!
Congratulations!!! What a wonderful day for you both.
Yay for you both! And may I just add that if that sonogram is any indication she is going to be very photogenic (say, for instance when she's modeling your knitware...)
Many congratulations! Girls are the best :)
Congratulations!!! How exciting! I love the photos!
Congratulations! She looks like a cutie already. :)
Oh!!! Congrats!!! That's soooo exciting :) Break up the purple with a little pink and everything will be all good!
Congratulations!! Girls are so much fun (especially to dress up!) :)
Congrats! Don't worry about too much purple, it'll be a couple years before she gets an opinion anyway. :) I have to say, most of the little girls I knit and sew for are really into purple so odds are she's gonna love it.
Yay! Congratulations again :)
Oh wow! That is so cool. For some reason (I don't know why) I had this strange feeling it was gonna be a girl. Really.
Congratulations to you and DH! How exciting!
congrats!! so many cute knitting patterns for baby girls. I'm glad you're going the purple instead of pink route.... to spruce up the purple, u could throw some green in too!
Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. It takes about 2 years or so to get a coding certificate. If you want more information, go to AHIMA.org and search for CCS. If you want info on school, the place I suggest is Santa Barbara City College (www.sbcc.edu) and look for their Coding Certificate. You can do it online. After you feel comfortable enough with the things you've learned, the important thing is to take the national certification test (CCS). I hope this doesn't sound overwhelming or confusing!!!
Congratulations!! Girls are the best!
