Here is my contribution to the Square Along. I used my new Blue Sky Needles and they worked great. I really like the 5 inch length, but I am still not sure it was worth the hefty price. The yarn is a beautiful colorway called Marrakesh that I could not take a decent photo of. It actually looks like this. I bought it from Fearless Fibers. My first FO of the year is a square!

Hi Oyi, yes, there are ice storms here in Central Texas. We get a least one ice storm every winter, and snow maybe every couple of years. The last time it "snowed" was Valentine's Day 2004. The ice is hard to drive on, so they encourage us to stay home. It's been lovely, knitting the days away!

yes i have some of those needles too - not sure they're worth the price. mine have already split a bit.
