This is the Petals Collection from Sundara Yarn. Isn't it gorgeous? The colors reminded me of Calla Lilies even before I read the name on the label. Look at all the extra goodies my package came with. A flower lolly pop, a beautiful calla lily postcard (I wonder if Sundara took the photograph?), welcome card, and a sock pattern in a cute envelope. Everything was wrapped in green and pink tissue paper. It was a lovely package to open. Sundara makes the most amazing colors. I didn't have time to take proper photos, so believe me when I tell you that the color is more amazing in person.
Sundara also has a new tag design for her yarn. The people who bought the Petals Collection got a preview of it with this yarn. I don't want to spoil it for everyone, so I won't post a pic of it. It's very cute.

Gorgeous Yarn!!!
Don't give up on the drop spindle! I taught my knitting group and it took about 3 straight hours for them to get the hang of it! Try first stretching the roving out to the desired thickness for about 3 feet, then spinning it. That way you can just practice spinning the spindle.
It takes practice, but once you've got it, it's a piece of cake. :) Then check out the rovings at A Swell Yarn Shop :)
oooooh very pretty!
beautiful! that yarn is way too pretty to knit!
