No spring in my step.

Springing forward one hour really messed up my internal clock this weekend. I am so tired. I felt so sluggish yesterday and all I wanted to do was take a nap, but I had too much work to do. One of the big things that I had to do was my taxes. I am sure all of you had yours done last month and probably are using your refund to add to your yarn stash. Good for you! Well, I stayed up till 5am this morning categorizing all my 2005 expenses. I had a years worth of receipts to go through! Plus, I had to search for a lot of them because I just stuff them everywhere. Let me tell you, it was painful. I got everything together along with DH's tax stuff and sealed it in a envelope and sent it to my CPA this morning. He should get it tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers because the lady at the post office was very confused when I was trying to mail it by Express Mail.

When I got home, I made a set of these. Sarah Neuburger of The Small Object made these paper envelope sleeves to help her organize her receipts. She is so kind to make them available to all of us. You can download your own here. These were so quick and easy to make. Just print on card stock, cut, fold and tape. Hopefully, I will be super organized this year. Please don't hold your breath. :-)

Here are pictures of what I worked on last week. I started a Pinwheel Baby Blanket and my first sock!! And in between I worked on the Classic Scarf.

I've been angsting about my taxes all day. I should do them.

I can't believe you are now a sock knitter. Shocking! I may have to knit a pair myself someday.

The blanket is looking great too.

Come and join the fun of sock knitting, Amy. I can't believe I'm doing it, too. I feel like I joined some kind of club.

My DH asked me why I have been buying sock yarn when I don't knit socks. I quickly whipped out the sock cuff to show him. Tada! I do knit socks and that's why I must start a sock yarn stash.

Nice to know that I am not the only one that has been procrastinating about my taxes.
