Knitting?

No knitting content today. Who has time time to knit with this cutie around? I am taking Napoleon to the vet for his shots today. I can't resist showing more pics of him. Sorry! I promise to have some knitting pics soon.

That is seriously the cutest puppy ever (well except for my Loco). What a sweetheart.

Does he shed a lot?

Is Loco your parent's dog? I like the name!

Nope, he doesn't shed. He takes after his father with the short Chihuahua hair.

People stop me on the street to pet him. They just love him. There was this lady who pulled over while driving cause she saw me holding him on the street. She spent 20 minutes giving me advice on my puppy. Some people really love dogs!

It drives me crazy that he is so cute. It's so hard to stay mad at him or to scold him, but sometimes it's necessary to yell at him. Like when he peed on the floor last night for no reason, even though he knows how to use the litter box. He knew he was bad and wouldn't look at me in the eye. Then with his head down and those sad puppy dog eyes, he walked into his crate and stayed in there until I called him out for his dinner. It was so funny! I felt bad to see him sad, but he needed to be scolded.

He uses a litter box? Wow! I just can't get over how cute he is!

Yes, we trained him to use a tray that holds a wee wee pad. He got the hang of it in a week. Since, he is so little and and he had not got all of his shots, we were not allowed to take him outside. Plus, he pees all the time, so the wee wee pad is a life saver. It's hilarious when he stops in the middle of playing fetch and runs over there and uses it.

He got his vaccinations and boosters on Friday, but the Vet said that he still needs 2 more before he can go out and play with other dogs. That means 2 more months. I am disappointed cause I want to take him to the park and play with other dogs. But I must follow the Vet's orders cause I don't want Napoleon to get sick from the other dogs.

You are the one who chose him from the line up! He was not our first choice. The pic on the website didn't do him justice, cause when we saw him in person, he looked way cuter in person.

You are wise to keep him away from the other dogs. My parent's dog, Loco, had kennel cough when we first got him. We also used those pad things when we first brought him home. He was such a tiny little thing that wanted to be held all of the time.

You are going to have such fun knitting things for Napoleon.

Do you have any web links to knitting patterns for small dogs? I would love to make something for him. He is so small, he doesn't fit regular pet clothes. I bought him a sweater for a teddy bear at a crafts store.

You rock, Amy! I am definitely making one for Napoleon.

That will be so cute! The blog I nabbed that link from is by a woman who was the original author of the dog knitting book recently reviewed in Knitty. I think she dropped the book because she was too busy with other commitments.

I'm getting very close to finishing your scarf! Woo hoo!

I wish there was extra yarn to make one for Napoleon.

Yeah, I am super excited about my scarf! Omigod! A puppy scarf would be so cute! Maybe I can whip him up something if I can just find the time.

I'm so nervous. I hope you like it as much as I do.

I know. I can't believe that I am getting spammed! Yuck!

Don't worry, I love the scarf.

Boo, you should get rid of them. I noticed that other people who uses the bogger comments have that thing where you have to type in random letters (capthcha).
