Look who got their finger nails and toe nails painted for the first time? I got a pedicure the other day and she was absolutely in love with my red toe nails. The next day, I offered to paint her toes and she enthusiastically agreed. All I had were a light shade of pink. She sat so still and was very careful not to smudge them until they dried. It was hilarious! After her toes, she insisted that her finger nails were done, too.
She could not be prouder! Look at that smile. She was very excited to show her father when he came home.
So, I got my pedicure done for my weekend getaway to Bermuda! My sister won a weekend trip from a Boston radio station and she offered to take me. My first trip away from Melody. I will miss her, but I am looking forward to relaxing and having fun with my sister. DH and Melody will holding down the fort. I hope they don't destroy the fort. Adios! See you all next week. Hopefully, I will remember to take some pictures to share.

Aw, so sweet... I was never a really girly girl, but I always wished that my mom would take me for a manicure when I was that age.
