Whoops!

Wow, I didn't realize that I haven't put any pictures of Melody up on the blog in a really long time. Judging by all of your reactions from my last post, you are all surprised at how much she has grown. It's totally my fault because I have been so busy and she does keep me on my toes all day. I don't get any time to myself until she goes to bed at night. She is unbelievably active and most people are shocked by her never ending source of energy.

So tonight, DH and I used our Blackberry Phones to take some quick snapshots of her tonight. Ever since we got these new phones a few months ago, we use the camera function on it constantly. It doesn't take the best photos, but it sure is convenient. This week, she somehow learned to say "Cheese" when she sees me with a camera or if I aim my phone at her. She is actually posing for the camera now. It's hilarious to us because we did not teach her to say "Cheese" and she really doesn't say many words yet. Every week, she surprises us with something new.She will be turning 2 years old in a few weeks. The time did go by so quickly. She is turning into a pretty little girl, but I keep referring to her as my baby.See those stuffed animals on the tray? She doesn't go anywhere without her arsenal of "Babes" (short for Baby). It can be quite a feat getting her out of the house because she wants to bring all of them in her arms. She will cry uncontrollably if she knows one of them got left behind. Just between you and me, I have taken to hiding some of her babes before we go out. Out of sight, out of mind. :-)

I hope you enjoyed this quick update of Melody.

Hopefully her total adorableness makes up for endless energy that keeps you on your toes! Who could resist that beautiful smile???
Hehehehee, I like the idea of hiding some of her babes. :)

Sometimes it's creepy how they seem to learn stuff out of thin air but that's so funny about her saying "cheese". Careful where you hide stuff. When Daniel was little, we hid a talking Barney on top of the armoire in our bedroom and it woke us up in the middle of the night chattering away (speaking of creepy).

Ah yes - between my two boys there are four blankies which must be dragged about everwhere - most important!

I loved them! I can see that she is a bundle of energy. But she is the cutest bundle I ever saw! Thanks for posting.

so adorable! It's funny that she carries around so many babes, but I think I would be trying to hide some of them too :)

So cute! It does fly by quickly and she is turning into such a pretty girl. I've been known to hide a few toys, too. It makes the rush to get out of the house easier.

Melody is such a cutie pie! How sweet that she wants to take all of them with her, although I can understand you hiding some.

Hello Oiyi, thank you so much for stopping by ... and leaving the comment despite the hassle! It's really heart-warming to know the internet friends still remember me!
Melody is growing up so fast! And getting prettier every day too.
I love the sea lace necklace you talked about in an earlier post. And I am so jealous that you can shop at the Lion Brand Studio in person! I really love their new collection and the stainless steel yarn is definitely something I would try ... however, the only way I can get it is mail ordering! Shopping in person would be much more exciting!
Once again, thank you very much and wish you and your loved ones a wonderful 2010 ahead.

she's so adorable!! what a funny story about her learning "cheese." my sister would pick up words all the time like that when she was little. my sister also did the same thing with her toys...she couldn't leave the house without at least three of them. guess i shouldn't send her another stuffed animal for her birthday, huh? :)

She is such a cutie!

My nephew was the same way except his entourage was 5 blankets. My sister did the same thing and would just hide them...
