This is my friend, Tomo, behind our table after we set up. She brought a little lamp so that my yarns could get more light at the bar. These are my cotton projects bags that are for knitters or crocheters. I hand drew the images that you see on the bags. They were really fun to make.Tomo had basketfuls of knitted hats for babies and adults. Her baby mittens and adult fingerless mitts were a huge hit.Tomo makes these beautiful feather headbands that are sold in boutiques all over Brooklyn.I also knitted and crocheted some toys and sweater ornaments. Everyone got a kick out of seeing the miniature items.Beautiful pillowsReally cool neck ties for men.My friend, Dawn, who organized this event, makes Letter Pressed cards, coasters, tags and bags.Cool prints that the artist hand draws and then turns into prints.Pretty Christmas ornaments. There were a lot more vendors, but I only managed to take photos of the ones I featured here. I always forget about taking photos at these events so I am glad I did it in the beginning.
This was a really fun event and held at a nice bar. The owner was super accommodating and nice. He even switched all the light bulbs in the bar for brighter bulbs. Towards the end of the event, I got to try my first Hot Toddy. Delicious and perfect for weather we had on Saturday.
Thank you to everyone who made it to the event to say hi. The weather was less than stellar to say the least, so it's even more awesome when friends make the effort to show up. I even got to meet some new faces and directed more people to Ravelry that have never heard about it.
Last night, I finally set up my Etsy Shop. I put all the remaining stuff I had from the fair on there. Now, I am trying to spin as fast as I can to replenish all the yarns that I sold on Saturday. It was sad to see my favorites go, but I was also very pleased that they were so well received. Although there isn't that much stuff left, feel free to take a look, ATDcrafts.etsy.com. I am offering Free US Shipping for the holidays (until I leave for our Christmas trip to Boston).
