Thanks, it worked!

Thanks for all the great tips on straightening the yarn. Even though I wanted to be lazy and just knit with it, I know it was way too curly to knit with it. I used my swift and wound it into a skein and tied it off. I soaked it and then let it hang to dry without any weights. It took 2 days to dry and then it was as good as new.The pattern is called the Gathered Scarf. The pattern requires you to use two different sized needles, so it keeps you on your toes.
My sister got me this cool Hello Knitty Tote Bag. It's a very big and roomy canvas tote that will be handy in holding my WIP's.
I found some quiet time to hang out with the boys today (of course, that meant that the baby bottles didn't get washed right away). I wish I had more time for them, but Melody takes up most of my time right now. I can't wait until Melody can start playing with them. They would really enjoy that.Up close and personal with Caesar. He loves walking up to the camera while Napoleon is very wary of the camera and tries to stay far away. It's a vast improvement from when I first got the camera and he would hide. Caesar has always been the fearless one.Napoleon and his favorite toy, Teddy. He likes to suck on Teddy's face and falls asleep doing it. It's like a pacifier for him.

The yarn turned out great! It will make a nice scarf. But the best part of this post are your boys! They are so cute!

Good as new! It's great to know that used yarn can still be salvaged, and I'm glad that you were able to put it to use right away. The scarf looks lovely already!

And your dogs are just far too cute...!

The boys are so cute, they crack me up. The Teddy "pacifier" must be hilarious. Melody will have a ball playing with them before too long.

Cute little dogs! My Jack Russell will tolerate the camera for a short while and then whine uncontrollably until I put it down. Even if you can't give them as much attention, at least they have eachother.
Glad the yarn straightened out. I've seen that pattern for a baby blanket, but it looks really nice as a scarf!

I love the scarf (cool bag, too), and your boys are cuties as always. Be sure to give them scratches for me (and for Melody). Napoleon and his Teddy are so sweet : )

That Hello Knitty bag is cute! Great play on Hello Kitty. Looks like Ceasar and Napolean had a fun time playing with you!

Maryse done good with that pattern, but the delicate color of your yarn really shows it off!! Your fur babies are adorable, and I'm glad they're getting some lovin' I'm sure as soon as Melody can direct her movements intentionally, the boys will get plenty of attention!

So much cute in one post! Although I think the best part of all is that Napoleon uses his teddy as a pacifier! How sweet.

Glad the yarn trick worked. I think that is so cute that Napoleon sucks on the face of his teddy to fall asleep!!

I've got to say I like the gathered scarf much better than the classic scarf.

I'll have to remember that trick about straighting the yarn.

The yarn looks like new! I am going to try and re-use some of my redundant projects now. Yay to dog time too - it must be a big change for the little guys. I'm sure the three of them will get on great in a couple of years :D
