Vintage Button Swap (& 2nd Contest)

I participated in Sally's Vintage Button Swap Deux and I got partnered up with Sara. Look at the wonderful package she sent me. I am so touched that she made me a Softie! It means so much to me when someone hand makes something for me. The bear is licking it's lips. Too cute! She also sent me some vintage fabric which I can add to my little fabric stash. The Hello Kitty head is a container that held some of the vintage buttons. Thank you, Sara!

As promised, the 3 Year Celebration Contest continues. Schrodinger Knits won last week and has emailed me her info. This week's contest will begin today (Wednesday). Let's make it a little more interesting this week. To have a chance at winning a stitch marker, I want you to guess how much Caesar (my dog) weighs. I will give you some hints.

Hints:
-Caesar weighed 2lbs when we got him.
-He turned 1 years old in February and he is done growing.
-Caesar weighs more than Napoleon.
-Caesar was suppose to be 5lbs fully grown, but he just kept growing!
-Caesar is considered a small dog.

The Rules:
-Leave your guess on this post.
-I will take all the names of the people who guesses the right number and put it into the drawing, so a winner be drawn randomly. In the case, that no one guesses correctly, I will take the names of people who comes closest to Caesar's actual weight.
-You have until Sunday, April 22, 9pm eastern time to make a guess. I will announce the winner next week and kick off the final drawing.
This week, I am giving away the Whisk Stitch Marker. Good Luck!

My guess is 5 pounds 7 ounces.

That looks like an amigurumi bear. Is it? Love the one-of buttons, especially the clear - so much you can do with that.

My guess is 6 pounds 8 ounces.
And thanks for visiting my blog - the basket really appreciates your comment.

Love the vintage fabric and buttons - you REALLY have to search hard for stuff like this in the UK (or raid your nan's closet). Right my guess is 8lb 5oz, based on the fact that's what I weighed 27 years ago, lol!

So, um, I hope Caesar's not offended, but I'm guessing 10 lbs. He looks pretty solid.

:o)

OK, they say that the camera adds weight. And I know my cats weigh more than they look. So we'll see.

love your stuff from the swap and the whisk stitch marker...wow never seen anything like it so I'm putting pressure on myself right now to get it right...being an accountant.....I've formulated 8pds 10oz which is actually miss keira's birth weight....I'm also killing myself laughing over the comment about the camera adding pounds...I always use that excuse when I see a bad photo of myself!
