Happy Mail

I was so excited to get this in the mail today. I have been anxiously waiting to get a copy of the Crafter's Companion and was able to order it from Overstock a few weeks ago. It took forever to get here. I think I stalked the mailman everyday. It was definitely worth waiting for.
It's a wonderful book. It was so neat to see so many of my favorite craft bloggers in the book and some I didn't know before. I am really enjoying reading about each of the contributors of the book and seeing their studio. The above photo is the studio of Mariko of Super Eggplant. I can't wait to make some of the projects from the book.

Keep the guesses coming on Caesar's weight. It has been fun reading what you think Caesar weighs. The contest will end on Sunday night at 9pm eastern time. It doesn't matter where you live in the world. I will send the prize to you where ever you are. Here is a vague hint: he weighs anywhere between 5-20 lbs. Yeah, I know I am giving you a broad range. ;-)

Have a great weekend! It's gorgeous here in NYC. DH took the boys to the park and I spent the afternoon baking for a birthday party I am going to tonight.

We just rearranged that space because superbuzzy was overflowing! Now the cutting table is in that spot.

Hey, how did you color your boiled eggs so perfectly? Mine came out all streaky and crazy!

Time to walk my 24-pound dog now ...

Isn't it a great book? I ordered it a while back and have made a number of projects from it since. (I think there are pictures of them floating around in my archives or my flickr page.) It's a great book.

Anna--the one who put the book together--is now in Minneapolis so I've had a couple of chances to meet up with her. The online crafting world is just wonderful.

Btw, I loooooove the yarn that you sent me...I just started knitting with it and am having trouble putting it down.
