3 Years, Let's Celebrate!

Gianduia Sandwich Cookies from Dessert 1-2-3. Nutella, eggs, and cake flour, a nice simple 3 ingredient recipe to ease myself back from my migraine. I am feeling a lot better. Thank you for all your well wishes.

I started this blog in April of 2004. I have forgotten to acknowledge it the last 2 years, but this year is different. This year, I post more frequently because I have been constantly creating. I was disappointed in myself that I did not knit much last year, but I somehow got my knitting mojo back this year and the Finished Projects category proves it. Baking has always been a passion of mine, but I didn't start sharing my kitchen creations until this year. I feel like the more I share, the more I am fueled to create. Let's hope I can keep this up.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's comments because it has led me to discover your blogs and to see what you are creating, which also inspires me. I feel a great sense of community online that I lack in my everyday life. Thank you for taking the time and stopping by to see what I am creating.

I am going to kick off this celebration by giving away 1 stitch marker (made by me) each week for the rest of April. There are 3 weeks left, so you have 3 chances to win. The first stitch marker is the Bird's Nest.

The Rules:
Leave a comment on this post and a name will be drawn randomly. You have until Sunday, April 15th, midnight eastern time. I will announce the winner next week and kick off the next drawing. Good Luck!
ETA: Comments are now closed for this contest.

Happy Blogiversary!!!
That's the most beautiful little stitch marker!
I know what you mean about community--I only have one friend who knits. It's so great to visit blogs and be encouraged and inspired to create.
(yummy-looking cookies!)

holy smokes, three years! Happy blogiversary! Isn't it amazing how time flys by?

Those Gianduia Sandwich cookies look amazing. I'll have to see if I can't switch it around a bit. My DH can't have nutella :( Glad to hear the migrane is on its way out!

Happy Blogiversary! Migraines suck. I finally went to an acupuncturist, and it helped immensely. I guess just being able to identify the triggers helps, but you probably already know this!

Ooooh, those cookies look devine. I'm slowly catching up, digging myself out of the hole that is "no internet". Glad the migraine is gone. and happy blogiversary.

Wow, not sure which looks more delicious – the cookies or the lovely birds nest! In fact, the migraine I currently have is feeling just the littlest bit better looking at them… Happy Blogiversary! ; ) ej

I wish you a happy blogiversary too! I feel like you, I'm at home with 3 kids and don't get out much at all. Finding community online through knitting blogs has really made a difference for me. I love it, and it inspires me too.
