I am so excited to test knit a pattern for the talented Anna of Mochimochi Land. Anna designs the cutest knitted toys. Her patterns will be available for purchase soon on her website, Mochimochi Land. Be on the lookout for when her website launches. In the meantime, she has a free pattern for cute little knitted Hearts.
The Uh-Ohs were a lot of fun to knit. I have never knitted something that was linked to something else, but it wasn't hard. It was a fairly quick knit and then off into the washing machine for felting. I think that the Uh-Ohs makes a great baby toy. A baby can grasp onto a ring and swing it around, but it won't hurt them because it's soft. I might have baby Veronica give it a test run, but I am not sure that I can part with it yet because I love it so much. The boys were eyeing it the whole time I was sewing up the pieces, but I told them that it's not a puppy toy. They think that all stuffed toys are for them to play with. Sheesh! This is the first time I have used Lion Wool. It was soft and easy to knit with. After felting, it makes a very firm and sturdy fabric. So firm, that I had a hard time sewing up the seams. The cast on and bind off edge left a stiff lip/ridge. I wanted the finishing to look as professional as possible so it really bugged me that that the ridge was visible. So, I ended up flipping the pieces inside out and that caused the ridge to curl in and made the seam nice and neat looking. It didn't matter which side of knitting I used because the wool felted very well and you couldn't distinguish the wrong and right side anymore. For some reason, the ears and legs didn't felt as much, so you can still see the stitch definition. Each ring measures 5 1/2 inches across.Pattern: Uh-Ohs pattern by Anna of Mochimochi Land

Very, very cute! I'm going to check out Anna's website. I'm about to test knit for a designer, as well. This will be my first time doing so.

i was kind of thinking, oh man those are super cute..but what the heck would i do with them. But i'm thinking my nephew would like them so i'll have to keep an eye out on her site.
i don't want any fiasco like with the jess hutch toy book, where i tired to buy it from her on like 9 occasions and all she did was sell out and then have it go out of print, so now i am jusrt S.O.L. on it
-Jen, the Uh-Ohs will be the first pattern offered for sale on her site. I am sure she won't run out. There was a slight change made on the pattern so I am remaking them again.
I want Jess Hutch's book, too! It's really too bad she won't reprint them.
Those are some of the cutest toys I've seen in a while! Love the name too.
Oh my goodness! I love the Uh-ohs! They would make a great shower gift! I'll have to check out her site!
Very cool! That's the neatest pattern I've seen in a while. Good stuff!
