I thought it would be fun to have Melody try on some of the hats that I knit for her while I was pregnant. Caesar was the original model before Melody arrived and he is still one of my best models. Babies and dogs are squirmy as models, but at least dogs are willing to hold still if you wave a treat in front of them. Babies won't hold still for anything.Norwegian Sweet Baby Cap, already a bit snug. I will probably have to make her a bigger one soon.Coney Hat, So cute!Baby Hat from One Skein, still a bit loose and it comes off very easily when I used it a couple of times.Simple Baby Cap and Simple ShoesThe booties ares still too big for her, but I am sure they will fit by this Winter. She has very small feet.
Oh my gosh, she is just the cutest little bean! I love all your wonderful creations - the last is my personal favorite. I signed up for my first knitting class, can't wait!
Like Lisa, I really like that Coney Hat. The colors combo you chose is very pretty. I've never seen the Norwegian hat before, but I like the unusual shape. Beautiful knitting on a gorgeous little baby!
Hee, hee... but the squirminess makes for some cute series of photos (as you've shown here)! All the hats (and the booties are wonderfully modeled, but my goodness she looks extra cute in the Coney Hat : )
P.S. The little sweater in your previous post is adorable!
What an adorable model! My fav hat is the coney hat ;) They are all very cute on her. I've always had the same problem with my little girls feet being too small for socks and booties too. They fit sooner or later ;)
